What is shuffle tracking?
Not learning it will cost you dearly
Shuffle Tracking means that when the dealer shuffles the cards, we start tracking the cards. Once we know which cards are shuffled to which positions, we can use the counting concepts learned in our card counting course to adjust our playing strategy.
Normal card counting can only tell us the ratio of high cards to low cards remaining in the shoe, but it cannot tell us the exact position of each card. Shuffle tracking, however, allows us to know the exact position of the cards.
Once we know the exact positions, we can:
If you rely only on regular card counting, you can only know the ratio of high to low cards remaining in the shoe but not their precise positions. This could make you miss the most favorable cards to play.
Even if the count shows there are many high cards remaining, they might be far back in the shoe. Without knowing their positions, you could waste a lot of money making ineffective bets.
To bet accurately, I always combine card counting with shuffle tracking before placing the most efficient bets. This not only saves time but also allows you to win several times more money than with card counting alone.
